Efficiency Management System
Garments EMS Garment Line Efficiency Software (SMV, DHU)
Real-time line efficiency, quality and labour cost for stitching factories, driven by your operation bulletin and SMVs.
Best for: Garment and stitching factories
What is Garments EMS?
Garments EMS (Efficiency Management System) is production efficiency software for garment and stitching factories. It follows every bundle through each sewing operation and turns the pieces your operators complete into the numbers management needs: line efficiency against target, DHU and rejection rates, work in progress by process and labour cost per piece.
It is driven by your operation bulletin. Industrial engineers define each style's operations and their SMV (standard minute value). When an operator records pieces, the system stores the earned minutes at that moment — so if an SMV is revised later, past efficiency figures do not change.
Entries roll up automatically into hourly, daily line and daily factory summaries. Supervisors only enter what happened on the floor; the system calculates efficiency, quality and cost.

Frequently asked questions about Garments EMS
How is line efficiency calculated?
Efficiency is earned minutes (pieces × SMV) divided by available minutes (operators × working minutes from the factory calendar), shown against the line target.
What is DHU?
DHU (defects per hundred units) measures quality: the number of defects found per 100 pieces checked. EMS calculates it from your AQL quality checks.
What happens when an SMV changes?
You add a new SMV version with an effective date. Past production keeps the SMV that applied when it was produced, so history stays correct.
Can it handle several lines and shifts?
Yes. Lines, shifts and the factory calendar (holidays, overtime days) are set up once and used in every calculation.
